In the fall of 2023, the Michelin-starred Restaurant Inter Scaldes (Latin for "between the Scheldes") in Kruiningen underwent a true metamorphosis. The acclaimed star restaurant was welcomed into the Pillows Hotel Collection in January 2023. With much love and attention to detail, the historic building was renovated. For the interior, the new co-owners, Jeroen and Sanne Achtien, sat down at the drawing board with Paul Linse.
Together they explored the hidden treasures of this special location, paying attention to every detail. "From the versatile color palette to the lush forms of the natural surroundings, everything was carefully considered to capture the Zeeland feeling, visible from the first sketches to the final interior."
